1. Biological contact oxidation tank (aerobic tank): Adopts combined biological filler with large specific surface area. Uses micro-porous aeration or jet aeration for rapid degradation of organic matter (HRT 3~16h).
2. Secondary sedimentation tank: Activated sludge settles and is removed. Design surface load is 0.8 to 1.2 m³/(m²·h). Supernatant enters the clear water tank.
3. Clear water tank (disinfection tank): Standard retention time of 30 minutes. For hospital wastewater, time increases by 1-1.5 hours using chlorine dioxide.
